FAQ
Industrial panel PC questions buyers ask before RFQ.
These answers help you prepare a more complete inquiry before samples and quotations.
Can you customize the industrial panel PC configuration?
Yes. Screen size, CPU platform, memory, storage, ports, mounting method, touch type, logo, and OS image can be discussed by project.
What information should I send for a fast quotation?
Send screen size, OS, CPU level, required I/O ports, mounting method, quantity, target market, certification needs, and expected delivery time.
Do you support OEM or private label projects?
Yes. We can support logo, packaging, boot screen, labeling, accessory kit, and model naming after the specification is confirmed.
What is the typical lead time?
Sample and mass production lead times depend on configuration and quantity. Standard models are usually faster than custom mechanical or OS projects.
How do I choose between Windows, Android, and Linux panel PCs?
Choose Windows for SCADA, MES, vision software, and legacy industrial applications. Choose Android for terminals, kiosks, and simple UI workflows. Choose Linux when the project already has a Linux control stack or needs embedded customization.
What does IP65 mean for an industrial panel PC?
IP65 usually means dust protection and water jet protection for the rated area. Many panel PCs are IP65 on the front panel only, so buyers should confirm whether the requirement is front-only or full enclosure protection.
Can you provide stainless steel or waterproof panel PCs?
Yes. Stainless steel, waterproof, and washdown-ready designs can be discussed for food, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, outdoor, and wet-area applications.
Can you support medical panel PC projects?
We can discuss medical terminal requirements such as cleanable surface, fanless design, touch operation, mounting, and power adapter path. Exact medical certification needs must be confirmed case by case.
Do you provide CAD, 3D, or mounting drawings?
For suitable models, mechanical drawings, cutout drawings, and integration references can be prepared after the model and screen size are confirmed.
What mounting methods are available?
Common methods include panel mount, VESA mount, wall mount, arm mount, open frame rear mount, and project-specific brackets.
Can the panel PC be customized for OEM or ODM projects?
Yes. Typical customization includes logo, boot screen, OS image, I/O port layout, enclosure, mounting accessory, packaging, memory, storage, and cable kit.
What screen sizes should I list in my inquiry?
Send the target display size and acceptable alternatives. Common sizes include 7, 10.1, 12.1, 15, 15.6, 17, 19, 21.5, and 24 inches.
Can you help select a model if I only know the application?
Yes. Share the application, software, I/O, installation method, environment, quantity, and target price range. We can then narrow the category before discussing exact models.
